How do I get to the Sutter Youth Org. Building (Catlett Hall) so I can check in and ride?

How flat? Or how hilly are the courses?

The 17.5 mile Fun and 40 mile Classic include a stretch of 7 miles of rolling hills.  These hills make a total climb of 350 feet with a maximum grade of 3%. The balance of the courses are flat.

What will I find at the rest stops?

You will find water, bananas, oranges, kiwis, rice cakes, peanut butter, nut bread, bathrooms, a radio support person, first aid kit, and smiling faces.  Some stops will have sport drink and power bar type foods as well.

What's the grub at the finish line meal?

B-B-Q chicken breast, green salad, potato salad, beans, fruits, and bread.  For drink we have Pepsi products, lemonade and water.

Who gets all the money?

All (100%) of the money goes to the Diabetes Society of Yuba Sutter.  Every worker you see is volunteering their time.  We are a local autonomous organization that operates 20 different programs for the community.  Find out more online at www.dsysonline.com

How long does each course take?

Clearly that depends on the rider.  On average the 17.5 takes 1.5 to 2 hours, the 40 takes 2.5 to 4 hours and the 100 mile takes 5 to 6.5 hours.
